Your Physicians
Dr. Michael J. Lucherini grew up in Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brown University in 1987. During his undergraduate training, he also spent a year studying the history of medicine and classical music at the University of Bologna, Italy. He then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he received both a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry in 1992 and a Doctorate in Medicine in 1994. He completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children's Hospital in 1998. After completing his residency training, he entered private practice and became founder and principal at the Arizona Institute of Medicine & Pediatrics, PLC in Mesa, Arizona.
Dr. Lucherini is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Sign Language, and makes his home in Mesa, Arizona.
